Utah Desert

We survived the snow of Utah by heading to one of the drier places on the planet. Ibex. It is a very interesting desert setting with its own salt flat at the base of the walls. We did a bunch of the classics there up to 5.11d. Very stark place.

Castleton Tower (below): wed, the 26th , we did the Castleton Tower after a great bivy at its base. We did the Kor Ingalls and it was wild. The wide stuff was new to Beau who lead the first crux wide crack.

We racked up to do Fine Jade and a big wind storm hit and sent us back to Moab. We may hit Indian Creek soon, WayneWe spent the night at the base and got some great night pics. More photos on F-book.
